The record group includes: proceedings of the Board of Supervisors (1906, 1923-25, 1927-49, 1951-65) dealing with various aspects of county business; minutes of State Association of Board of Supervisors (1947-62); licenses to marry (1892, 1919); records relating to elections (1957-65), offering information on various elections, returns, finances, candidates and issues, and directives from the Michigan Dept. of State, Election Division; records relating to contagious hospital for Saginaw County (1930), consisting of minutes from committees of Board of Supervisors to investigate the establishment of such a hospital, and related records; petitions and plans to alter courthouse (1925-40); and other selected records of the County Clerk.
